Milan Ljiljanić, the Director of Monteput, expects the second section of the highway from Mateševo to Andrijevica to be completed and opened for traffic by 2030. Speaking on TVCG’s Morning Program, he stated that the land expropriation process has started on time and that he does not anticipate delays.
He recalled that the tender for the construction of the second section of the highway from Mateševo to Andrijevica was announced last week, with bids accepted until the end of April. “We expect the works to begin in 2025 and be completed by 2030. The total duration of the project is five years, which includes the preparation of the main design, preliminary works, main construction works, and the eventual opening of the section to traffic in 2030,” said Ljiljanić.
He emphasized that the tender conditions for contractors remain largely unchanged compared to the previous call. In the municipality of Kolašin, 70% of the expropriation cases have been completed. Regarding Andrijevica, from Trešnjevik to Andrijevica, there has been a route change, and the expropriation process for that section will be intensified in the coming period, he added, as reported by RTCG.
Ljiljanić stressed that the process was initiated on time, and he does not foresee any delays. As for electronic toll collection, he mentioned that the goal is to increase the number of users to 50% by the end of the year to reduce waiting times at toll stations. He also highlighted plans for streamlined procedures, such as video tolling.
