The reconstruction of the M-5 main road, section Rožaje-Špiljani, specifically the Rožaje-Most Zeleni stretch, approximately 1.2 kilometers long, has begun, according to the Traffic Administration.
The value of the works, excluding value added tax (VAT), amounts to around 830,000 EUR, and the contractor is the company Tofi.
The deadline for completion is four months from the start of the works.
The Traffic Administration explained that the reconstruction of this section is particularly important for the safety of pedestrians and drivers, as it is located in a densely populated area with high traffic volume.
“As part of the works, sidewalks will be constructed, providing safer conditions for residents of this part of Rožaje,” the Traffic Administration announced.
They added that the reconstruction of main and regional roads is one of their priorities, as it enhances road safety, extends the lifespan of road infrastructure, and improves connectivity between municipalities.
