Nammos Hotels & Resorts and Smokva Bay have confirmed that the planned Nammos Resort Montenegro is scheduled to open in 2029, marking a new investment project in Montenegro’s luxury tourism sector. The integrated development will include a luxury hotel, branded residences, villas, the Nammos restaurant, a retail village, spa facilities and additional lifestyle services.
The resort project was designed by Elastic Architects. Smokva Bay chief executive Fredrik Jonsson said the residential component is expected to attract international investment and support local companies during the construction phase and subsequent operations. The companies have not provided updated information on the project’s capital expenditure value, hotel room capacity or the planned number of residential units.
The development follows a model that combines hotel management with branded residential properties, including residences and villas, within a single integrated destination. Further project details, including the ownership structure, development phases, building permits, infrastructure obligations and the contractual relationship between the resort owner and Nammos, have not been disclosed.
