More than €2.2 million in grant funding has supported energy-efficiency investments in hotels across Montenegro, according to the EU Delegation, with the programme implemented through cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism, the European Union, the Ministry of Energy and Mining and the Eco Fund.
A new public call worth €500,000 is scheduled for September 2026, continuing support for energy-related investments in the tourism sector. The Ministry of Tourism and Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) have also signed a memorandum focused on promoting and installing solar photovoltaic systems at tourism facilities.
