Nammos Hotels & Resorts and Smokva Bay have announced a partnership to develop Nammos Resort Montenegro on the Budva Riviera, with the opening of the planned luxury resort scheduled for 2029.
The development is planned to include 126 accommodation units comprising hotel suites, branded residences and villas. The project will also feature a Nammos restaurant, retail facilities, spa services, beach facilities and wellness components. No investment value or financing structure for the development has been disclosed.
The planned resort represents an additional international lifestyle brand project within Montenegro’s coastal tourism development pipeline. The project is being developed alongside other integrated coastal developments in Montenegro, including Porto Montenegro, Portonovi and Luštica Bay. The project’s delivery will depend on planning approvals, infrastructure implementation, construction financing and the ability to meet the planned 2029 opening schedule.
Montenegro’s coastal tourism market includes existing luxury developments that have attracted demand for integrated resort concepts. New projects are expected to operate within a market requiring access to qualified labour, construction contractors, infrastructure capacity and high-net-worth buyers.
