Montenegro’s Minister of Transport, Maja Vukićević, and Monteput’s Executive Director, Milan Ljiljanić, signed a grant agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to support the construction of the Mateševo–Andrijevica section of the Bar–Boljare highway.
The €300,000 grant will cover costs for a Consultant to assist the Project Implementation Unit within Monteput until project completion. The Consultant will support procurement oversight, ensure compliance with EBRD policies, supervise contractors, and transfer knowledge of international standards and best practices.
Monteput selected the consortium PPG – Roughton International Ltd. – Roughton ECA d.o.o. for consulting services following EBRD procedures. The project aims to finalize necessary procedures and sign the EBRD loan agreement soon, with construction expected to begin in the second half of the year.
