The bankruptcy trustee for Montenegro Airlines (MA), Milan Radulović, has announced a new sale of assets from the former national airline, valued at a total of €1.94 million.
The last remaining aircraft, a Fokker, is being offered for €23,900, which is about €10,000 less than the previous sale in November last year, according to Pobjeda.
The price of tools has also been reduced from €111,600 to €74,400. Fokker parts are now available for just over €1 million, which is about €500,000 less, while the price of Embraer parts has dropped from €1.15 million to just under €770,000.
Containers and aggregates, according to the latest public announcement, are priced at €25,200, which is around €15,000 lower than the previous sale.
A Solis 90-4WD tractor is now being offered for €17,900, a reduction of about €5,000 compared to the November sale. All prices are excluding VAT.
Offers can be submitted until February 24, with the opening scheduled for three days later at the Commercial Court. Both domestic and international legal and natural persons who pay a deposit of 10% of the asset price they are interested in may submit offers.
The terms of the announcement specify that the selected buyer must pay the purchase price within 15 days from the final decision on the selection of the buyer and sign a contract with the bankruptcy trustee. Failure to do so will result in the loss of buyer status and the right to a deposit refund, and the trustee has the right to conclude a contract with the next highest bidder.
Dutch company Airline Fleet Support (AFS) previously bought two Fokker 100 aircraft in earlier public auctions for €65,900 and €85,000, while Serbian company Hashtag Hashtag purchased one aircraft for €145,000 and paid an additional €705,500 for four engines.
Bankruptcy proceedings for MA were initiated on April 28, 2021, at the request of the Revenue and Customs Administration, following 24 years of operation.
Claims of €33.8 million have been recognized, with the largest amount owed to employees—€17.3 million. Several lawsuits are ongoing before the Commercial Court regarding disputed claims.
