BBI Development from Kotor, developer of the Bigova Bay project, has issued a prequalification call to select a contractor for the construction of a 900-meter serpentine road (Road C) for the future resort in the Bigova settlement, Glavatičići cadastral area.
The road is planned as a one-way street, 5.5 meters wide, with two switchbacks, minimal shoulders of 1.5 meters, and embankments at least 1 meter wide. The entire cross-section will serve both vehicles and pedestrians, incorporating traffic calming measures, pedestrian paths, lighting, and landscaping.
Based on a 2022 infrastructure design (currently being aligned with a new Master Plan), the road corridor will include water and sewage pipes, irrigation systems, low- and high-voltage electrical installations including public lighting, and low-voltage telecommunications infrastructure.
Construction will be phased, with the first phase involving a temporary gravel road to support the planned hotel construction.
The prequalification covers the entire 900 meters of Road C and all associated infrastructure, with contracts based on FIDIC terms.

Bigova Bay is a luxury tourism project on the Trašte peninsula near Bigova village, covering over 120 hectares. It includes mixed-use facilities such as hotels, villas, retail centers, and beaches.
An 882-meter access road linking Bigova’s existing two-way road to the peninsula border has been completed, along with necessary infrastructure installations connecting the peninsula to public utilities.
By the end of Q3 2025, primary infrastructure—including water supply, 35kV cables, and telecommunications over approximately 6.5 km—will be operational, fully equipping the peninsula.
Secondary infrastructure is defined in planning documents for the area.
The next step is contracting the construction of the serpentine Road C, the peninsula’s first internal road, leading to the planned hotel zone.
