The future of Montenegrin maritime industry is being shaped equally by women and men—working side by side toward the same horizon, said Maritime Minister Filip Radulović.
Speaking at the “She and the Sea” event, held for the first time in Montenegro and dedicated to women in the maritime sector, Radulović expressed satisfaction at being part of this historic moment for Montenegrin maritime affairs.
The event highlighted the important role and contributions of women in this vital economic and social field and gathered representatives from institutions, the maritime industry, and other guests.
“Today we celebrate your courage and hard work, proving that the sea knows no prejudice but values knowledge and skills,” Radulović stated.
The Ministry of Maritime Affairs remains committed to fostering an equal environment where every woman feels valued, supported, and motivated to progress further and stronger.
Radulović emphasized that this celebration sends a clear message: the future of Montenegrin maritime industry is built equally by women and men, shoulder to shoulder, on the same horizon.
The “She and the Sea” event marks an important step toward promoting women in the maritime sector and reflects the Ministry’s broader commitment to building an inclusive, fair, and modern maritime environment in Montenegro.
