As of Thursday’s count, there are currently 7,525 registered guests on the Bar Riviera, marking a notable increase from the previous year. Hotels accommodate 2,970 guests, reflecting a 30% rise compared to the same period last year. Additionally, 4,480 tourists are staying in private accommodations, while resorts are hosting 72 registered guests.
The majority of tourists staying in hotels are from Germany, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, and Turkey.
“The peak season of July and August is anticipated to see full capacity, with expectations for sustained high occupancy levels into September and early October,” the TO Bar stated in their update.
In preparation for the tourism season, the TO emphasized the importance for all accommodation providers who haven’t done so yet to register their properties to comply with legal requirements.
“Starting today, there will be increased inspections of unregistered accommodations. Registered providers gain a significant competitive edge as they are featured in the TO Bar database, which promotes them through digital platforms, advertising materials, and brochures,” concluded the statement.
