According to the latest data from the local Tourist Organization (TO) in Tivat, there are currently 1,100 guests, with 95% of them being foreigners.
Private accommodation dominates, hosting a total of 1,060 guests, with only one being a local resident, reports Radio Tivat.
Hotels, which have seen a decline in visitors, accommodated a total of 50 tourists, including 43 foreigners and seven locals.
The largest group of tourists is from Russia, making up 35.09% of the total number of visitors, followed by tourists from Serbia, at around 15%. A significant number also comes from Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine.
Guests from the United States (USA), Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the United Kingdom, Croatia, and Kosovo have been recorded in smaller percentages.
The majority of tourists use private accommodation, which accounts for 95% of the total traffic, with a noticeable increase in foreign guests compared to 2019.
On the other hand, hotels have experienced a significant decline in guest numbers compared to previous years, with a 47% decrease compared to 2023 and a 24% decrease compared to 2019.
