The national airline of Montenegro, ToMontenegro, has announced an international public competition to appoint a new director. This follows the recent dismissal of Slovenian expert Marko Anžur by the government, with Vukadin Stojanović currently serving as acting director.
Anžur was appointed by the government of Dritan Abazović in May last year, and under his leadership, the company recorded its first profit, amounting to 3.47 million euros. Revenue saw a significant increase of 45% compared to 2022, reaching 62.3 million euros. On July 11, the government also restructured the board of directors, retaining Tihomir Dragaš, Mitar Šušić, and Aleksandra Gardašević-Slavuljica, while appointing Petar Glomazić and Giuseppe Renga to replace Stojanović and Danilo Popović.
The competition outlines that the new director will be appointed for a four-year term. Candidates must meet general conditions stipulated by the Labor Law, hold at least level VII 1 qualifications, have a minimum of five years of managerial experience in a related field, and be proficient in English. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the aviation industry, and applications from foreign nationals are welcome.
Applicants must provide formal proof of education, work experience, health capability, and a clean criminal record. Additionally, they are required to submit a presentation detailing their vision for the future strategy and development of the company. The competition is open for 15 days.
