According to data from the Tourist Organization, Tivat is currently hosting 9,340 tourists, of which 9,230 are foreign visitors.
The largest number of arrivals were recorded in private accommodation, with 7,740 guests in total—7,720 of them foreign and 19 domestic. Hotels followed with a total of 1,440 tourists, including 1,350 foreign visitors, the Tourist Organization reported, as cited by Radio Tivat.
Holiday resorts registered 110 arrivals, all of whom were foreign guests. Camps recorded the smallest number of visitors, with 51 guests, exclusively foreigners.
Compared to the same period last year, the total number of arrivals decreased by one percent, although certain categories showed significant growth, particularly camps.
Hotels saw an increase of 28 percent in arrivals, while private accommodation experienced a six percent decline. Visits to holiday resorts were six percent higher.
The largest share of tourists came from Serbia, accounting for 31.64 percent of arrivals. They were followed by visitors from Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Smaller percentages of tourists at the Tivat Riviera came from the UK, Turkey, Ukraine, Germany, the USA, and Israel.
