The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, said that it is not true that food prices have increased by 40% compared to last year, and that the Government is considering the continuation of the “Stop Inflation” campaign.
– The government has repeatedly intervened for fuel and food prices. I don’t know who the economists are who say that the general global market does not dictate prices – Abazović said and wondered who the economist is who will say that the prices of fuel or grains are not conditioned by global trends.
He said that the price of fuel at this moment is at the same level as last year.
He announced that the Government headed by him is thinking about continuing the “Stop Inflation” campaign and limiting the prices of some food.
