The budget for the next year is projected at EUR 3.4 billion, announced Finance Minister Novica Vuković.
He said that next year a debt of about half a billion will be due.
Vuković said that they have created a good framework and that the first step is for the government to adopt the law on the budget, which is planned for today.
As he stated, the expenditure and income side were analyzed carefully and comprehensively.
– If it is compared with the budget for this year, the increase is about 496 million – said Vuković.
He emphasized that one step has already been taken, and it refers to the debt that is planned for the end of this year.
– The cooperation with our banks, in the system of Montenegro, is exceptional, and we are talking about an interest rate between 6.4 and 6.5% – said Vuković.
– We are talking about the budget, where an important part will relate to development projects and the servicing of obligations from an earlier period – said Vuković.
As he stated, the increase in pensions will be financed from current revenues.
– With the adoption of the new law in the area of social benefits and the PIO area, all the steps that Europe now has two will be worked out – said Vuković.
He said that through the capital budget, the goal was to accept mature projects that can bring a financial effect in the coming year.
– We have 80 new projects and we will create fiscal space for the year 2025, where in the following year the environment for their implementation will be created through project documentation – said Vuković.
As he added, the Europe Now Two program will be specified through the legal framework and will come to life in 2025 and the full effects will be seen.
