Nik Đeljošaj, the president of the Tender Commission for the airport concession, stated that every decision made by the Commission becomes official only after being signed by all members. Therefore, he refused to comment on media reports, which he claims are deliberately published to discredit the process, particularly by one member of the Commission.
He announced that the Commission continued its previously initiated session, during which the IFC’s report on financial offers was analyzed. After concluding that session, a new one was held to evaluate both the technical and financial proposals and establish a ranking list.
A follow-up session has been scheduled for Tuesday, where the Commission will decide on the reports and any potential recommendations to the responsible ministry. Đeljošaj reminded that he had requested IFC to take responsibility for legal interpretations concerning the assessment of the concession bids.
During the session, IFC declined to answer his questions or assume responsibility, which was officially recorded in the minutes.
Đeljošaj emphasized that further decisions will be communicated to the public in due time. He reiterated that the process remains confidential, and any leaks made by members of the Commission constitute a criminal offense.
