Three major telecom operators in Montenegro — Mtel, Crnogorski Telekom and One Crna Gora — collectively recorded over 33.2 million euros in profit in 2024, with notable differences in profitability and workforce changes.
Mtel was the most profitable operator, with a net profit of 14.88 million euros and an EBITDA of 47.77 million euros. The company reported total revenues of 103.77 million euros and expenses of 87.97 million euros. Its number of employees increased by 7 percent, from 487 to 520.
Crnogorski Telekom generated 91.63 million euros in revenue and 84.02 million euros in expenses. Its net profit fell by 13 percent, from 6.63 million to 5.82 million euros. EBITDA was 35.26 million euros. The company reduced its workforce by 5 percent, from 470 to 447 employees.
One Crna Gora had the highest net profit margin, with a net profit of 12.58 million euros, marking a 14 percent increase from the previous year. Revenues reached 67.9 million euros and expenses were 52.95 million euros. EBITDA increased to 26.07 million euros. The number of employees rose slightly, from 364 to 372.
