There is strong interest from Georgia in investing in Montenegro, particularly in the tourism sector, announced Temur Kurkhuli, Montenegro’s honorary consul in Georgia.
Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism, Simonida Kordić, met with Kurkhuli and Radom Vujačić, Georgia’s honorary consul in Montenegro, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and increase the number of tourists from Georgia.
Kordić emphasized that Montenegro’s central and northern regions are especially suitable for such investments, highlighting opportunities for developing hotel capacities, conference halls, resorts, and other facilities.
She also stressed that Montenegro aims for healthy, direct investments that will be profitable in the long term, noting the country’s compact territory and diverse cultural and natural environment as key advantages.
The consuls announced plans to organize an Economic Forum in Montenegro this autumn, which will gather numerous Georgian businesspeople and investors interested in exploring Montenegro’s potential further.
