NLB Bank has officially opened its fully renovated branch in Nikšić, further demonstrating its commitment to providing modern banking services and improving conditions in the local community.
This step is part of the ongoing effort to innovate and enhance operations in all cities where it operates. Nikšić, with its rich cultural heritage and growing economy, was a natural choice for implementing new, modern standards.
The NLB branch in Nikšić, located at Novaka Ramova 17, is equipped with cutting-edge technological solutions that allow clients to carry out basic banking services more quickly and efficiently. The upgraded space and digital devices provide easier access to services and greater efficiency, as well as additional opportunities for dedicated financial advising. In addition to Wi-Fi, the branch offers a digital kiosk where clients can explore the full range of the bank’s services and current promotions.
New features, such as the 24/7 self-service zone equipped with a multifunctional ATM and modern payment devices, allow clients to complete transactions at any time of day or night, increasing mobility and accessibility. At the ATM, clients can withdraw cash without fees using NLB debit cards, make deposits to their or other NLB cards, check account balances, and change their PIN, all without waiting and at their convenience.
“We are back at a familiar location, now in a new look. We renovated our house, built more than a century ago, while preserving its architecture and welcoming spirit. We started with symbolic numbers, and today we have over 10,000 accounts for citizens and businesses, with a portfolio of 70 million euros in Nikšić. We are here to support economically viable and sustainable projects, to preserve the good spirit of Nikšić and contribute to making our city even more beautiful,” said Vesna Marojević, Director of the Nikšić branch. “The new branch represents a blend of modern and traditional, and our goal was to create a pleasant and functional environment where clients will always feel welcome, valued, and satisfied. The renovation is not just an aesthetic change—it’s a result of our desire to enhance the client experience. Even in this new setting, our team is here to support every visit, and the new technologies we’ve implemented will make everyday banking needs simpler and more convenient.”
“The renovated NLB Bank branch not only represents an improvement in the financial services we provide, but also contributes to the modernization of the city. We are committed to enhancing our clients’ experience by applying new technologies and constantly adapting to market needs. Nikšić, the second-largest city in Montenegro, with its rich cultural heritage and dynamic development, deserves to keep up with modern technological and business trends to further enhance its potential and become a center of innovation and prosperity,” said Marko Čelebić, Member of the NLB Bank Management Board.
Recognizing that responsible business practices include active care for the welfare of the community, Martin Leberle, President of the NLB Bank Management Board, presented a €5,000 donation to Dr. Zoran Mrkić, Director of the Nikšić General Hospital, for the purchase of modern medical equipment for surgery and gynecology, aiming to provide higher-quality healthcare to local citizens.
“We are extremely proud at NLB that the trust of our clients and the dedication of our team allow us to invest in the community in this way. It gives meaning to our work and represents our greatest satisfaction,” stated Martin regarding the donation.
Focusing on sustainability, NLB Bank will continue to modernize its branches by implementing energy-efficient lighting and heating systems and using eco-friendly materials in branch design. The bank remains committed to its mission of contributing to the development and modernization of Montenegrin cities, thereby creating a better environment for business and daily life for all its users.
