According to Monstat, Montenegro’s total final consumption of petroleum products in the past year reached 449,100 tonnes. The transportation sector accounted for 341,800 tonnes, while industry consumed 58,800 tonnes. Other sectors used 13,000 tonnes, and non-energy consumption amounted to 35,500 tonnes.
In the overall petroleum product consumption, transportation represented 76.1%, industry 13.1%, other sectors 2.9%, and non-energy use 7.9%. Imports of petroleum products into Montenegro totaled 453,900 tonnes during the same period.
