The business environment in Montenegro shows strong potential, particularly in the IT sector, according to Ivica Tatar, CEO of Logate. He emphasized that there is room for improvement, especially through greater support for innovation and more efficient education aligned with market needs.
Tatar highlighted the importance of providing clear career development opportunities for young people within the country to strengthen the local economy. He believes that innovation, education, and social responsibility form the core philosophy of Logate’s operations and that the future of Montenegro’s economy is digital.
Logate received recognition from the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro (PKCG) for its outstanding business performance and contribution to the domestic economy. Tatar attributed this success to the dedicated work of his team, which continuously invests in advanced software solutions for the banking and telecommunications sectors, as well as expanding domestic expertise beyond Montenegro’s borders.
Last year, the company focused on developing and improving software products to help clients operate more efficiently with reliable, scalable, and modern technological tools. Logate closely follows global IT trends to keep its customers competitive and prioritizes exporting knowledge and technology internationally.
Through the Logate Institute, the company also invests in educating young talent, while its Infintech conference supports the development of the regional banking sector. Tatar sees the combination of innovation, skilled people, and social responsibility as key reasons for the company’s success.
Looking ahead, Logate plans to continue developing software products, expanding into new markets, and hiring and educating new staff through its institute. The upcoming Infintech 2025 conference aims to further establish Montenegro as a regional innovation hub in banking and technology. Tatar concluded that the company’s goal remains to create sustainable, high-quality solutions grounded in knowledge, people, and community.
