Prices of imported industrial products in Montenegro increased 5.4% year on year in the second quarter of 2026, according to data from the national statistical office, Monstat. The annual increase was driven by manufacturing, where import prices also rose by 5.4%. Prices in mining and quarrying increased by a more limited 0.3% over the same period.
On a quarterly basis, imported industrial product prices were 4.7% higher than in the first quarter of 2026. Manufacturing recorded the same 4.7% increase, while prices in mining and quarrying were unchanged. Export producer prices also increased during the second quarter. Compared with the second quarter of 2025, they were 3.8% higher.
Within export-oriented industrial activity, prices in mining and quarrying increased 5.3% year on year, while manufacturing export producer prices rose 3.7%. Compared with the first quarter, export producer prices increased by 0.9%. Manufacturing prices advanced by 0.9%, while the mining and quarrying sector recorded a 0.5% quarterly increase. The data show increases in both the prices of imported industrial products and the prices of goods manufactured in Montenegro for export markets.
