Montenegro’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 2.5% in the first quarter of this year, according to preliminary data from Monstat.
The GDP for the first quarter was estimated at 1.43 billion euros, compared to 1.36 billion euros in the same period last year.
Among regional countries, North Macedonia recorded a 3% growth, while Croatia grew by 2.9% in the first quarter, reports Mina Biznis.
Monstat released the preliminary quarterly GDP calculations for Montenegro using both current and constant prices, applying the production and expenditure methods, in accordance with ESA 2010 methodology.
