As of the end of January, Montenegro had 191,990 fixed-line telephone connections, slightly fewer than in December, according to data from the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP).
Of this total, Crnogorski Telekom had 100,760 connections, M:tel 72,520, Telemach 16,110, One 2,580, and Orion Telekom had 15 connections.
Crnogorski Telekom holds a 52.48% market share in fixed-line telephony, followed by M:tel with 37.77%, Telemach with 8.39%, One with 1.35%, and Orion Telekom with a negligible share.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of fixed-line telephone users in January increased by 0.82%.
Of the total fixed-line connections, 84.96% belong to individual citizens, while 15.04% are for businesses.
