The Credit Registry services of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) for banks and other financial institutions will now be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
According to the announcement, the new operating hours of the Credit Registry will enhance the online lending process, allowing for faster and more efficient processing of loan applications for banking service users.
“The Credit Registry includes all loan users in Montenegro, and since its establishment in 2006, the Central Bank has continuously improved the functioning of this service,” the statement said.
The CBCG Credit Registry is a unique and standardized electronic database of credit and other liabilities of individuals in Montenegro, formed based on data and information that reporting entities (banks, microcredit financial institutions, the Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro, leasing and factoring companies, banks in bankruptcy, and special reporting entities) are required to submit to the Central Bank.
