According to Monstat, the average net salary in Montenegro in June 2025 was €1,010, marking a 0.4% decrease compared to May. However, compared to June 2024, it increased by 20.5%. The average gross salary stood at €1,200.
Due to a 0.4% rise in consumer prices from May to June, real wages fell by 0.8% over the same period.
Sectors that recorded a net wage increase in June include:
- Agriculture, forestry, and fishing (+2.4%)
- Transport and storage (+1.3%)
- Electricity, gas, steam supply, and professional, scientific and technical activities (both +1.2%)
- Water supply and financial and insurance activities (both +1.1%)
Wage declines were observed in:
- Accommodation and food services (−4.9%)
- Construction (−2.4%)
- Real estate (−1.8%)
- Mining and quarrying (−1.4%)
- Education (−1.2%)
- Information and communication, and arts and entertainment (both −1%)
- Healthcare and social work (−0.7%)
- Administrative services (−0.5%)
- Manufacturing (−0.2%)
