The State Secretary for Energy and Transport, Admir Šahmanović, announced that he was pleased that the company Tasyapi, one of the renowned construction companies in Turkey, expressed interest in the implementation of the construction project of a cement factory in Pljevlja.
“As this important project, based on the fulfillment of administrative and technical conditions, is under the jurisdiction of several ministries, the next meeting will be a good opportunity to, with representatives of all relevant institutions, specify further activities in this field of cooperation,” Šahmanović said at the meeting he held today, with representatives of the Tasyapi company.
He said, as reported by the relevant Ministry, that credible investors are always welcome in Montenegro.
Šahmanović thanked the credible investor for his expressed interest in visiting the Jagnjilo location as soon as possible and announced that the tour procedure will be made possible already tomorrow, with the supervision of an authorized technical person, and all with the full support of the Ministry of Capital Investments.
The high representative of the Tasyapi company, Vedat Ali Aydin, stated that the company is a serious contender, with decades of experience in the field of construction, and he hopes that both parties will, as soon as possible, continue discussions and concretize cooperation, and practically demonstrate that the policy attracting foreign investments, once again results in the strengthening of the economy and even stronger bilateral relations between the two countries.
Šahmanović said that, according to the available documentation obtained from state authorities, whose opinion is necessary when granting concessions, it was established that the land of Jagnjilo is owned by the Coal Mine and the State of Montenegro, and that there are no legal obstacles to obtaining the relevant urban planning and technical conditions. which are a positive starting point for granting a concession, for all interested investors, local media reports.
