Montenegro will host a high-level investment conference in October, announced the Ministry of Public Works. The conference titled “Smart Growth, Green Future: Accelerating Investments in Montenegro” will take place on October 14 and 15 at The Chedi Luštica Bay hotel in Tivat.
The Ministry of Public Works invited representatives from domestic and international business communities, institutions, and organizations to participate. The event aims to promote strategic, green, and sustainable investments and position Montenegro as a key investment destination in the Western Balkans region.
Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović emphasized that Montenegro will be a meeting place for investors, innovation, and sustainable development. Supported by the European Commission and the Montenegro Investment Agency, the conference will serve as a platform for strategic, green, and digital investments.
Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević highlighted that the conference will feature high-ranking EU officials and provide an opportunity to showcase Montenegro’s progress in European integration. It will also boost visibility for investments in renewable energy, sustainable agribusiness, tourism, and IT sectors. The involvement of the European Commission underlines Montenegro’s commitment to the EU path and opens doors for concrete EU investments.
The conference will focus on new development opportunities in renewable energy, sustainable agribusiness, tourism, transport, and information technology. It is organized in cooperation with the European Commission and the Investment Agency, marking a key step toward strengthening Montenegro’s role as a regional center for green and digital investments aligned with European values and sustainable development goals.
Key EU representatives, Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, international organizations, and leading European companies will participate. The event will present major investment opportunities, planned regulatory reforms, and initiatives to improve the investment climate, with special attention to projects aligned with the EU Green Deal, Agenda 2030 goals, and Montenegro’s accession process to the EU single market.
Minister Adžović stated that the conference offers a vital strategic platform to connect the public and private sectors and create a sustainable, innovative, and competitive future for Montenegro. It opens space for partnerships bringing green technologies, modern solutions, and quality jobs, strengthening trust and positioning Montenegro as a modern, stable, and promising investment destination in the heart of the region.
