For Montenegro, the investments coming from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are very important, as well as the support given in all fields, assessed the Minister of Capital Investments Ervin Ibrahimović and the country’s ambassador Nabila Alshamsi.
“At the meeting, it was noted that the two friendly countries have a continuity of good friendly relations on the political and economic level, and that the investments coming from the UAE are very important for Montenegro, as well as the support that this friendly country gives to Montenegro in all fields,” he said, announced the Ministry.
At the meeting, it was noted that there is a strong potential for improving cooperation in the fields of energy, especially renewable energy sources, and tourism, innovation and technology, and transportation.
It was also assessed that the possibility of cooperation on large infrastructure projects should be considered, such as the continuation of the construction of the Bar-Boljare highway and the Adriatic-Ionian highway.
“It was also agreed that in the coming period, the administrations of both countries will devote themselves to creating conditions for strengthening cooperation in the aforementioned areas,” the announcement concludes.
