The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTOCG) organized a B2B workshop during the Belgian Tourism Congress held in Montenegro, gathering 160 representatives from tour operators, travel agencies, and the Belgian tourism industry. The event provided an opportunity for direct meetings between Belgian industry professionals and Montenegrin tourism stakeholders.
“This workshop is an excellent opportunity to bring Montenegro closer to the Belgian market and establish concrete agreements for future arrangements and promotional activities. We are pleased with the strong interest from Belgian partners and believe that this B2B platform will result in new collaborations that will contribute to increasing tourism traffic from Belgium,” said NTOCG representatives.
The goal of the event was to enhance business cooperation, promote Montenegro’s tourist offer, and strengthen its position in the Belgian market, which is showing growing interest in authentic, sustainable, and lesser-known destinations. Belgian tour operators expressed significant interest in including Montenegro in their offerings.
“The country has a lot to offer, and for Belgians, having good food, beautiful nature, and development projects is very important,” said Koen van den Bosch, Executive Director of VVR.
Montenegrin tourism stakeholders view such events as crucial for promoting the country, especially in markets with growth potential, like Belgium. The workshop also helped reduce travel costs by providing an opportunity to meet renowned tour operators from various countries in one place.
In the coming days, Belgian partners will have the opportunity to visit key tourist sites, experience local cuisine, and learn more about Montenegro’s offerings.
