Minister of Maritime Affairs Filip Radulović visited the Maritime Safety and Port Management Authority, meeting with director Nebojša Kaljević. During the visit, Minister Radulović toured the Vessel Traffic Service Center, which monitors all maritime traffic in Montenegro’s territorial waters 24/7.
They discussed the Authority’s readiness for the upcoming summer season, traditionally marked by increased maritime traffic.
Radulović emphasized the importance of effective coordination and timely response by all relevant services to ensure safety at sea, protect human lives, and preserve the marine environment. Director Kaljević briefed the minister on key measures already implemented, including technical and staff preparedness and improvements in monitoring and communication systems with sailors and tourists.
Radulović expressed satisfaction with the high level of professionalism and dedication among staff and assured continued support from the Ministry to maintain Montenegro’s waters as a safe and well-regulated maritime area during the busy summer months.
