According to data from the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), by the end of February, 20,890 businesses and entrepreneurs were in blockage, which is 0.11% less than at the end of January.
The total debt amount resulting in account blockages stood at 1.39 billion EUR, which is 1.1% higher than in January.
The concentration of debt is relatively high, with the top ten largest debtors, or 0.05% of all registered entities, accounting for 33.12% of the total blockage amount. These ten entities have a blocked sum of 459.6 million EUR.
The 50 largest debtors, who make up 0.24% of all registered entities, account for 52.25% of the total blockage, amounting to 724.92 million EUR.
1,530 debtors were in continuous blockage for up to one year, with a total blocked amount of 22.07 million EUR, or 1.59% of the total blockage.
Over a year, 19,360 companies or entrepreneurs had their accounts blocked for a total of 1.36 billion EUR.
