The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO CG), together with partners, showcased Montenegro’s tourism offerings at the “IFTM Top Resa 2025” fair in Paris from September 23 to 25. The event is one of the key B2B tourism fairs in France, attracting over 30,000 professionals and around 1,700 exhibitors this year.
NTO representatives held numerous meetings with tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, and media from France, including Edreams Odigeo, Expedia Group, Transavia France, Last Minute, Worldia, FRAM Karavel, La Route Des Voyages, Decathlon Travel, and NG Travel. Tour operators reported a rise in bookings for Montenegro and expressed strong interest in promoting the country’s mountain regions, highlighting plans to expand cooperation with Montenegro.
Dušanka Pavićević, advisor to the NTO director, emphasized the importance of the French market, noting that in 2024, Montenegro received about 94,000 arrivals and 405,000 overnight stays from French tourists. As of July 2025, around 55,000 French visitors arrived, a 7.8% increase compared to the same period last year, with 220,000 overnight stays, up about 2%. NTO plans to strengthen its presence through targeted marketing campaigns, promotional content, media partnerships, and participation in international B2B events.
Vukadin Stojanović, CEO of Air Montenegro, highlighted strong results from the 2025 summer season and expressed optimism for 2026, anticipating growth in both regular and charter flights.
Sarah Dades from French tour operator FRAM Karavel praised the partnership with NTO CG and joint marketing campaigns in France, expressing hopes to continue collaboration in the coming year.
The Montenegro stand was also visited by Ambassador Dubravka Lalović, who noted strong French interest in traveling to Montenegro. Strategic partners presenting the destination included Air Montenegro, HG Budvanska Rivijera, Montenegro Stars Hotels, local tourist organizations from Podgorica, Budva, and Tivat, various hotels, and travel agencies.
