Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Đeljošaj announced that, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and domestic producers, a series of meetings had been held in recent days, resulting in a decision to limit profit margins for a specific number of products.
The goal, he said, is to reach a solution based on mutual agreement.
“Through dialogue, we have reached a solution. The campaign will be almost identical to the previous one, covering nearly the same products, and will be in effect until March 31,” stated Đeljošaj.
The list includes between 800 and 900 items.
“I expect these products to be discounted by 15 to 20 percent from the date the regulation takes effect. This decree also limits the price of wood pellets,” he added.
