A delegation from Montenegro, led by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, will be in Washington from today until Saturday to participate in the annual Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB).
According to the Ministry of Finance, the delegation includes teams from the Ministry and the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), headed by Finance Minister Novica Vuković and Central Bank Governor Irena Radović.
During the Spring Meetings, the Montenegrin delegation will hold a series of discussions with senior IMF and World Bank officials, focusing on current issues in economic, fiscal, and monetary policy. Special attention will be given to strengthening public finances and enhancing the resilience of Montenegro’s financial system.
“The Spring Meetings of the IMF and World Bank are among the most important international forums, bringing together leaders from around the world—including finance ministers, central bank governors, policymakers, private sector representatives, academics, and civil society—to exchange views on key global economic challenges,” the statement concluded.
