The Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (PIO) of Montenegro has confirmed that September pensions, to be paid this month, will increase by 1.98%.
The PIO Board held its 20th session and approved a set of decisions regarding pension adjustments: the adjustment of pensions for one personal point, the general adjustment of pensions and cash benefits, and the adjustment of the basis for determining compensation for bodily injury, all effective from September 1, 2025. As a result, pensions and cash benefits will rise by 1.98%. The value of one personal pension point is set at €11.89953, and the basis for calculating bodily injury compensation is €458.09206.
This September adjustment, the third increase this year, applies to pensioners receiving pensions above the minimum of €450, as the minimum pensions remain frozen until the end of the year.
