Montenegrin producers showcased their products at the Agro Belgrade 2025 Agricultural Fair, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG) and the Ministry of Agriculture. Minister Vladimir Joković highlighted the record number of Montenegrin exhibitors and emphasized the importance of supporting domestic producers for broader market access, especially as Montenegro is expected to join the EU by 2028.
Lidija Rmuš from PKCG noted the opportunity for Montenegrin producers to connect with distributors and buyers, with over 50 international distributors attending. Products displayed included wine, olive oil, flour, and spices. Companies like Lučka Olive and pasta manufacturer Mihailović also participated, aiming to expand into regional markets.
The fair also included a three-day conference on global market trends and technological innovations in the food industry.
