Montenegrin companies participated at the international technology fair GITEX EUROPE 2025 in Berlin, showcasing the country’s readiness to be part of global tech trends, announced Nina Drakić, president of the Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce (PKCG).
PKCG organized the national pavilion featuring 15 local ICT companies presenting software solutions, digital services, and innovative products with global market potential. GITEX EUROPE, the European edition of the renowned GITEX Global from Dubai, focuses on European market challenges and opportunities.
The event gathered over 60,000 professionals, 2,500 exhibitors, and 1,000 startups from more than 100 countries. Its theme highlighted advancing Europe’s digital future through global partnerships, innovation, and knowledge exchange.
Drakić emphasized that this was the first collective appearance of Montenegrin ICT firms at EU events, providing a key platform to promote their solutions and position Montenegro as an attractive IT investment destination.
Participants had opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, green tech, digital finance, telecom, education, commerce, and healthcare.
Representatives from Montenegrin companies expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to showcase their work, gain new contacts, and seek strategic partnerships in the EU market.
Notable companies included Čikom, Data Design, Digital Den Hub (supporting startups and innovation), and The Badger, which presented Montenegro’s first high-tech patent combining hardware, firmware, and software.
Executives highlighted the importance of PKCG’s support and encouraged other ICT firms to utilize such international platforms to grow their presence abroad.
The event also featured Codeus, Trony Network, Montex-Elektronika, Codepixel, Digital Fabric, Logate, WinSoft, BURA Cloud Montenegro, Profit App International, Coinis, and the European Patent Organization representative.
Overall, the participation underscored Montenegro’s dynamic and fast-growing ICT sector, its innovative potential, and commitment to integration into the European and global digital economy.
