A delegation of Montenegrin business people visited the World Expo Osaka 2025 and attended Montenegro’s National Day celebration. Tomorrow, they will participate in the Montenegro–Japan Business Forum organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG).
Alongside attending the National Day event, which featured a concert by renowned Montenegrin soprano Tamara Rađenović, the delegation toured the Montenegro pavilion as well as pavilions of other countries, with over 160 nations represented at this year’s expo.
The business forum will be held tomorrow at the Intercontinental Hotel in Osaka, featuring speeches from PKCG President Nina Drakić, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, and Hideiki Sho, General Director of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
Snežana Đurović, Director of the Investment Agency of Montenegro, and her JETRO counterpart will present investment opportunities in their respective countries.
A positive example of Japanese business operations in Montenegro will be highlighted by Montenegro’s honorary consul in Japan and Chairman of Daido Metal, Seigo Hanji, along with a company representative, Kagohara-san, according to PKCG.
Following the business forum, world-renowned classical guitarist of Montenegrin origin, Miloš Karadaglić, will perform a concert.
Expo 2025 Osaka is taking place from April 13 to October 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Osaka.
More than 160 countries, regions, and international organizations are participating, with organizers expecting around 28 million visitors over the six-month event.
This year’s main theme for the World Expo is “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”
