A positive result was recorded in Montenegro’s banking market at the end of the second quarter of this year, with ten commercial banks reporting a combined profit of 72.77 million euros.
The highest profit was achieved by Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka, which posted earnings of 26.08 million euros. It was followed by NLB with 13.3 million euros and Hipotekarna Banka with 10.84 million euros, according to data published on the website of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG).
Erste Bank reported a profit of 8.25 million euros, Prva Banka earned 4.38 million euros, and Universal Capital Bank posted 2.82 million euros in profit.
Addiko Bank’s profit at the end of June stood at 2.72 million euros, followed by Lovćen Banka with 2.18 million euros, Zapad Banka with 1.5 million euros, and Ziraat Bank with 698 thousand euros.
Adriatic Bank was the only one to report a loss, amounting to 2.77 million euros.
