The Ministry of Tourism has allocated approximately 550,000 euros through its 2025 Tourism Incentive Program, which has received record interest this year.
Over 170 applications were submitted, with 121 projects selected for financial support. The program aims to promote balanced tourism development and stronger integration of local communities into tourism flows.
The initiative includes three key measures: support for organizing events and festivals to diversify tourism offerings, especially in northern Montenegro; improvement of rural tourism services by enhancing accommodation and related capacities in rural households, alongside sustainable development and digitalization efforts; and enhancement of overall tourism quality and digital solutions, focusing on cultural, sports-recreational, and adventure tourism.
The Ministry’s goal is to strengthen Montenegro’s competitiveness as a destination, expand tourism offerings, and extend the tourist season year-round, while actively supporting initiatives that add value and promote sustainable tourism development.
