Minister of Maritime Affairs, Filip Radulović, announced that Marina Bar represents a significant potential for the development of both tourism and the maritime economy as a whole.
During his visit to Marina Bar, one of the key facilities on Montenegro’s maritime map, which has great potential for tourism and the maritime economy, Radulović stated that the marina, like many others in Montenegro, has shown considerable progress in infrastructure, as well as in the conditions for receiving and docking vessels.
“Marina Bar represents significant potential for the development of tourism and the maritime economy as a whole. The conditions for receiving and docking ships are much better than before. This progress is crucial for enhancing Montenegro’s competitiveness on the international maritime stage,” Radulović said.
He also visited the newly renovated area, which will be used for dry docking.
“We have renovated an area of about five thousand square meters that had been neglected for decades. This project represents an important step in improving infrastructure and increasing the safety of ships. It also facilitates easier access and maintenance of vessels, which is essential for the development of the maritime economy,” Radulović explained.
He added that this project is just one of many initiatives by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs aimed at improving maritime infrastructure and further developing tourism and the maritime economy in Montenegro.
