Proposed amendments to Montenegro’s coastal temporary-facilities program envisage additional nautical, hospitality and recreational infrastructure at Luštica Bay, including mooring sites for superyachts of up to 100 metres. The plans identify three mooring locations in Trašte Bay designed for vessels measuring up to 30, 60 and 100 metres. A separate restricted anchorage is proposed for larger yachts, covering no more than 3,000 square metres and equipped with four buoys.
The proposed facilities would be situated outside Luštica Marina and arranged to avoid disruption to maritime traffic and existing underwater infrastructure. The onshore proposals include two swimming pools with a combined area of approximately 890 square metres, along with open-air cinemas, event domes and hospitality facilities.
The plans also provide for a children’s playground and electric-vehicle charging facilities. Several pontoons and platforms would offer additional access to the waterfront and short-term berthing options for boats. Five bathing areas are included in the program along approximately 820 metres of coastline between Velja Spila, Oblatno and Luštica.
The proposed beach zones comprise public, family-oriented, hotel, party and “romantic” areas, covering different intended uses along the coastline. The document establishes planning possibilities rather than granting permission for construction. Detailed studies and approvals from the relevant maritime authorities would still be necessary before the proposed facilities could proceed. The plans do not specify investment amounts, a construction schedule or confirmed investors.
