The company EE Korita in Bijelo Polje will build a solar power plant (SE) with a capacity of 240 MW, and the investment is valued at around 200 million euros.
This project is a step closer to realization after representatives of the Bijelo Polje company and the Montenegrin Transmission System (CGES) signed a contract for the construction of infrastructure to connect the SE Korita to the transmission system.
- This collaboration, formalized by Ivan Asanović, CEO of CGES, and Damir Banovec, representing the Bijelo Polje company, marks a step forward in strengthening our capacity for renewable energy production and expanding the sustainable energy network – it was announced.
The contract includes planning, construction, and integration of the future solar power plant, which will have a capacity of 240 MW, at the Korita location near the border with Serbia. The investor is the Danish company European Energy, which has significant experience in building solar and wind power plants.
