Hungarian food industry companies recently connected with potential partners in Montenegro, creating opportunities for joint projects in the food sector and trade, according to the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG).
Hungarian Ambassador to Montenegro, József Négyesi, emphasized that Hungary’s food industry has remained committed to quality, innovation, and traditional values, despite significant changes over the years. He highlighted Hungary’s fertile agricultural land, which provides excellent conditions for producing high-quality raw materials and food products sought both domestically and internationally.
Mladen Perazić, Director of the Education and Quality Sector at PKCG, expressed confidence that the event would strengthen cooperation between Hungarian and Montenegrin businesses, with more Hungarian products available in Montenegro.
Gergely Giczi from the Hungarian Agricultural Marketing Agency presented the Hungarian Food Business Catalogue, a platform aimed at facilitating B2B connections and promoting Hungarian food products internationally.
The forum featured B2B meetings, allowing businesses to explore new opportunities and taste Hungarian products. Ranko Jovović from PKCG noted that Hungarian investors, such as those in the Mamut Brewery, are already present in Montenegro, and now Hungarian food products will also enter the market.
Hungarian companies like Tisa COOP and Detki Kekez are seeking partners in Montenegro, with a focus on expanding their market presence.
