Construction of the Gvozd wind power plant is progressing according to plan, announced Ivan Bulatović, Executive Director of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG). He expressed hope that the first kilowatt-hours from Gvozd will be generated by the end of this year.
Bulatović, along with EPCG management and contractors, inspected the construction site and expressed satisfaction with the current project pace. The work is carried out with full technical and operational coordination among all parties involved.
The Gvozd wind farm is recognized as a key step toward Montenegro’s green energy transition and increased energy independence.
EPCG thanked local residents for their patience during construction, noting efforts to minimize any disruptions to traffic and local transport while respecting the community and environmental protection.
