The airline between Baku and Tivat will operate twice a week from today, it was announced at the meeting between Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting in Baku, it was stated that the mood is for the development of air traffic between the two countries with the aim of establishing a regular route.
“Relations between the two countries are friendly and good, with a tendency to intensify political dialogue and improve bilateral cooperation in all segments of mutual importance,” the announcement of the Government Public Relations Service states.
It is added that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Montenegro and Azerbaijan have managed to develop excellent relations based on friendship, openness and understanding, which has resulted in meaningful and constructive cooperation, especially in the field of economy.
Abazović emphasized the desire for further strengthening and development of bilateral relations and overall cooperation, especially when it comes to improving infrastructure, direct foreign investments, the field of energy and tourism.
During the meeting, there were discussions about new potential investments of Azerbaijan in Montenegro when it comes to tourism.
