The company ADP, led by a French-Turkish consortium, is very interested in taking over the Airport of Montenegro and they are actively monitoring the situation when it comes to traffic and regulations.
Now a decision is expected from the job holder to say in which direction this tender will develop or end, said the president of the French-Montenegrin companies, Rajko Uskoković.
He emphasizes that for the third time the Government of Montenegro has not made a final decision on taking over the Airport, and that the company “ADP” had the opportunity to present its intentions to the Government of Zdravko Krivokapić.
“At that meeting, the strong will of this company to be one of the project holders was expressed, and they gave a clear perspective on how to develop both airports in Montenegro. The decision was also made to go to the very end of the tender,” Uskoković said.
According to Uskoković, the final decision on the concession will wait for the new government.
“The tender was announced in 2019. ADP has already passed two pre-qualification cycles and entered the final itself. “It’s not a good message, not only for this job, but in general for other infrastructure projects, when so much time is wasted because the companies that are interested have other markets,” said Uskoković.
He reminded that the ADP company manages the airports in Skopje and Zagreb, and that they have positive experiences there.
