Finance Minister Novica Vuković and his team will participate in meetings of the Belgian-Dutch Constituency of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, taking place from today until Saturday in Luxembourg.
The meetings will focus primarily on identifying models to overcome challenges through strengthening regional cooperation, aiming at sustainable growth and development of national economies.
Participants will also assess the impact of the new geopolitical environment on fiscal policies, including the rising demand for defense and security spending, as well as the importance of regional cooperation between the EU and its neighboring countries in the context of EU enlargement and trade.
Member countries of the Constituency will exchange information with representatives from the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), and the European Commission. Discussions will cover topics such as the dual transition of climate change and digital transformation, which are crucial for future prosperity.
The focus will also be on exploring innovative policies, infrastructure development, and the importance of inclusiveness and resilience during these transitions.
