Montenegro’s Electric Power Company (EPCG) has issued its third tender for the design and construction of the Otilovići small hydropower plant. The contract value remains 7 million euros (8.47 million including VAT).
The project includes preparation of the main design, construction of civil structures, supply and installation of electromechanical equipment, testing, and commissioning. The main design must be completed within six months, environmental impact assessment within six months, and construction is expected to take 12–20 months.
The Otilovići plant will have a capacity of approximately 2.6 MW and an estimated annual electricity production of 11 GWh. EPCG aims for the plant to be operational by the end of 2026, although previous tenders in May and late last year were canceled.
Submissions for the new tender are due by October 20.
